These Terms & Conditions of Participation set out the conditions governing participation in the Phonemaxxing workshop organised by Proximus and Muchii as part of the activation.
The workshop is intended for parents or legal guardians accompanied by their child aged 11 to 13.
Participation in the workshop is free of charge and subject to prior registration.
Registration must be completed by the parent or legal guardian of the participating child.
The adult participant agrees to provide accurate information when registering and to communicate any information necessary for the proper organisation and conduct of the workshop.
As the number of places is limited, the organisers reserve the right to limit the number of participants and, where applicable, to confirm registrations subject to availability.
Registration for the workshop may not be transferred to another person without the organisers’ prior consent.
Participants agree to comply with the instructions provided by the organisers and with all safety rules applicable at the workshop venue.
The parent or legal guardian remains responsible for their child throughout the workshop, unless otherwise indicated by the organisers.
To ensure the proper conduct of the workshop, Proximus and Muchii reserve the right to refuse or discontinue the participation of any person whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate, dangerous or likely to disrupt the workshop or other participants.
Proximus and Muchii reserve the right to modify, postpone or cancel the workshop for organisational, technical or safety reasons, or for any other reason beyond their reasonable control.
Where reasonably possible, registered participants will be informed of any changes or cancellation as soon as possible.
Photographs and/or video recordings may be taken during the workshop by or on behalf of Proximus and/or Muchii.
Consent to being photographed or filmed and consent to the subsequent use and publication of such photographs and/or videos are separate consents.
Through the registration form, the parent or legal guardian may consent to Proximus and Muchii photographing and/or filming them and their child during the workshop.
Consent to the subsequent use and publication of photographs and/or videos in which the participant and/or their child are identifiable will be requested separately at the workshop. Participants will be asked to complete and sign a separate image consent form specifying whether they authorise Proximus and Muchii to use and publish such photographs and/or videos.
Where such consent has been given, photographs and videos may be used by Proximus and Muchii, as well as by service providers acting on their behalf in connection with this activation, for communication, promotional and advertising purposes relating to Proximus and/or the activation, including on their websites, social media channels, digital media and other communication materials.
This authorisation is granted free of charge for a period of one year from the date of the workshop and for use within Belgium.
Consent to the use and publication of photographs and/or videos may be withdrawn at any time in respect of future uses, in accordance with the procedure set out in the image consent form and/or the applicable Privacy Notice.
Participants who do not consent to the use and publication of their image and/or their child’s image will be identified accordingly so that their photographs and/or videos are not selected for subsequent use or publication.
In connection with the organisation of the workshop, Proximus and Muchii may process certain personal data relating to participants, including registration contact details and any information required to organise their participation.
Where a participant has separately consented, during the workshop, to the use and publication of their image and/or their child’s image, photographs and videos taken during the workshop may also be processed and used in accordance with Article 5 above.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Information concerning the processing of personal data, retention periods, recipients of personal data and the exercise of participants’ rights is available in the Proximus Privacy Notice and the Muchii Privacy Notice.
Proximus and Muchii will take all reasonable measures necessary to ensure the proper conduct of the workshop.
However, they cannot be held liable for damage resulting from inappropriate behaviour by a participant, failure to comply with safety instructions or circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
Registration for the workshop implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions of Participation.
Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and consent to being photographed or filmed do not constitute consent to the subsequent use or publication of a participant’s image or that of their child. Consent to such use and publication will be requested separately through an image consent form to be completed and signed at the workshop.
